setup & hold time

Hi all, can any body answer my query.the quey is as ............. Q:In data sheets we generally have min,max & typical delay.I wnat to know how it is related to setup time & what we have to take into consideration in setup time(min,max,typical)

Younus, It is as simple as this we have to take max setup for min freq. and min hold time for max. reliability to be in a safer side.typical su and hold are considered if u can rely on that and if there is strong history where the ckt which is designed for the typical timing specifications is running smoothly.all these shd be a matter of intuition/reasoning.
