pls tell me how the source resistance is calculate?
2.parasitic capacitance of the FET are used for this. 3.it depends upon the Lambda of the mosfet which is more important.slope is inversely proportional to Lambda. The more the Lambda the less the slope.Lambda=1/Va where Va is early voltage. when Lmabda=0 we have vertical transition line which is of infinite slope. on transition both FETs are like current sources and the slope depends on both the sizes(relative).both being correctly sized (whatever values) will give the same trans. peeriod.
The equation for maximum operating frequency is as follows max clk freq = Tmax (seq block)+ Tmax(comb block) + Tmax setup
Hold time isnt considered while calculating the maximum operating frequency.Setup time is considered.
