SVT/LVST mix in CTS not allowed

Hello, Does anyone know why mix of SVT/LVT not allowed in CTS.Infact only SVT allowed in 40nm . Thanks

As such, there should be no such hard requirement. However, often such requirements are created for better delays and skews. Mixing can cause different slews and delays across different sections of the clock trees. But, like I said initially, this should not be a hard requirement.
