i need to call a square root algorithm that i wrote with a keypad..

here how it is. i punch in the numbers using a 3x3 keypad that i wanted to square root. for example 25. then i push the button '#' it will square root it. how can i call the vhdl algorithm with the button. in my keypad scanner, # will be 1011.

help me.

I also need help for a VHDL program to display the numbers on an LCD. This part is also important because it is where i show my result.
