in i/o mapping u work with 8-bit port address under instruction IN and OUT.
while working with memory mapping we work with 16-bit address.this address is directly provided to i/o device. in this way that i/o device become part of main memory of processor so that it called memory mapping.
MEMR/MEMW Instructions r used in this mapping to perform read and write operations.
